Situated in Townsville, we are a co-educational independent school providing excellence in Christian education to over 1,100 students from our Early Learning Centre through to Year 12.

The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our Cleaning Team on a Full-Time basis starting in Week 2 Term 2 - 28th April 2025!
The role of Cleaning Supervisor is to coordinate the cleaning activities of Calvary Education Group and Calvary Christian Church to meet the broader organisation’s various cleaning requirements. Our ideal candidate will have proven leadership capability in a supervisory role - we are on the hunt for someone to lead, inspire and coordinate!
The Cleaning Supervisor will not be required on the tools unless absolutely necessary - their primary focus will be to support and guide an amazing Team in their daily operations.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a current positive Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and proven leadership and management skills to effectively manage and coordinate the activities of a diverse Team.
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will have;
- A demonstrated ability to develop and sustain productive working relationships including the ability to effectively resolve conflict, while maintaining strong working relationships and a desire to positively contribute as a Team Member.
- Preferred experience working within the commercial cleaning industry, including knowledge of relevant safety and legislative requirements.
- The ability to actively promote Workplace Health and Safety.
- The ability to assist in the ongoing cleaning of College facilities as required.
