Calvary Christian College is a co-educational independent school providing excellence in Christian education to over 1,100 students from our Early Learning Centre through to Year 12. About the role...

Join our vibrant and growing College community and play an important role in supporting student engagement through our Library. We are seeking a motivated, hands-on, and highly organised Library Assistant to join our Library team on a Permanent Part-Time basis, commencing Term 3, 2026. This role is for 22.5 hours per week.

The role of Library Assistant is to create a warm and welcoming Library space for the entire College community and to facilitate community engagement in the services of the Library.

What we are looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have a current positive Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and a working knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System.

As a Library Assistant, you will also have;

  • Demonstrated library, administration or customer service experience with an ongoing commitment to professional development.
  • Enthusiastic and approachable personality with high-level interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships and work confidently with people at all levels.
  • Experience with Oliver library software is desirable.
  • Proficient level of computer literacy with proven capacity in MS Office Suite, and other software/programs in common use for libraries and education.
