We are Calvary Christian College - a co-educational independent school providing excellence in Christian education to over 1,100 students from our Early Learning Centre through to Year 12. About the role...
We are seeking enthusiastic Secondary Teachers to join our Team starting in Term 2! We are currently hiring for the following roles:
- Permanent Full-Time
- Fixed-Term Full-Time Parental Leave | Commencing 20 April 2026 | Ending 04 December 2026, with the potential of permanency.
We welcome applications from teachers across all secondary subject areas, with a preference for those experienced in Mathematics, English, Humanities, or Food Technology.
The role of Secondary Classroom Teacher is to provide quality instruction within the College’s Christian worldview and in accordance with the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements.

What we are looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will have a current Queensland Teachers Registration.
As a Secondary College Classroom Teacher at Calvary Christian College, you will have experience which demonstrates excellent, current classroom teaching techniques and practices that meet diverse needs and learning styles of students and are consistent with relevant curriculum and policies.
You will have:
- Ability to create a culture of learning and achievement through effective planning, student management, classroom resource organisation and engaging learning strategies.
- Exemplary professional manner, interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
- Enthusiastic desire and resolute commitment to actively contribute to the culture and values of the College.
- Proficient level of computer literacy with proven capacity in MS Office Suite, and other software/programs in common use for education.
