Location: Calvary Christian College
Department: Primary
Status: Acting Appointment (Internal Applicants Only)
Calvary Christian College warmly invites our current Team to apply for the role of Acting Assistant Director of Primary College (Prep–Year 2). This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who feels called to step into leadership - someone who loves coaching others, nurturing young learners, supporting families, and contributing to a joyful and thriving Primary College culture grounded in Christian faith.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Primary College, the Acting ADOPC (P - 2) plays an important role in supporting strategic direction, curriculum development, team growth, and pastoral care within Prep to Year 2. The role collaborates closely with the ADOPC (Years 3 - 6) and the wider Primary Leadership Team to ensure a connected and cohesive K - 12 journey for our students.
This role will suit a relational, organised, and proactive leader who is passionate about Christian education and committed to helping our Primary community flourish.
This opportunity is available to support our Team while the Assistant DOPC is on Long Service Leave.
Acting Appointment Details
The successful applicant will commence as soon as possible following interview and selection and the appointment will continue until the end of Term 1.
As with all acting roles, the start date and release from classroom responsibilities rely on the College securing a suitable contract Teacher to cover the successful candidate’s class for the duration of the appointment.
While it is our intention that the successful applicant will not hold a teaching load, there may be occasions where limited teaching responsibilities need to be negotiated in line with operational needs.
