Calvary Christian College is a co‑educational independent College providing Christ‑centred education for over 1,100 students from our Early Learning Centre through to Year 12. Our College family includes Calvary Early Learning Centre, Calvary Teaching School, Calvary OSHC and Eaton College, our specialised facility supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

About the role...
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Classroom Teacher to join our Primary College Team on a Full-Time Fixed-Term contract for 2026 (12 months). We are open to candidates with experience in any Primary year level.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching within a distinctly Christian worldview, upholding the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements while nurturing students academically, spiritually, and personally.

To be successful in this role, you will:
Essential
- Hold current Queensland Teacher Registration.
- Demonstrate strong, contemporary teaching practice and the ability to support diverse learning needs
- Understand and actively support the philosophy of Christian Education, modelling Christian character in the classroom, playground, and staff community
- Deliver high-quality, engaging learning programs aligned with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and the College’s pedagogical framework
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, learner-centred environment where every child feels known, valued, and inspired
- Contribute to the life of the College through curricular and co-curricular initiatives that foster character growth and spiritual development
