We are Calvary Christian College - a co-educational independent school providing excellence in Christian education to over 1,100 students from our Early Learning Centre through to Year 12. About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Secondary Teacher to join our team on a Fixed-Term Parental Leave Contract for Term 1, 2026. This is a Full-Time position.
You will deliver engaging, practical, and inspiring lessons that foster creativity, critical thinking, and a love of learning in our students.

Remuneration and Benefits:
As a Secondary Teacher at Calvary Christian College, you will receive an above-Award Full-Time salary between $90,000 and $120,000 per annum pending experience. Click here for our full Employee Benefits Package - you’ll be part of our supportive and collaborative College community!
- A current Queensland Teachers Registration.
- Experience which demonstrates excellent, current classroom teaching techniques and practices that meet diverse needs and learning styles of students and are consistent with relevant curriculum and policies.
- Enthusiastic desire and resolute commitment to actively contribute to the culture and values of the College.
- Exemplary professional manner, interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
- Food Technology, English and/or Humanities subject experience is preferable.
- Certificate II in Hospitality is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Ability to create a culture of learning and achievement through effective planning, student management, classroom resource organisation and engaging learning strategies.
- Proficient level of computer literacy with proven capacity in MS Office Suite, and other software/programs in common use for education.
