The Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Piano Tutor to inspire students and strengthen our musical culture. This is an Independent Contractor position, commencing Term 1, 2026 until end of Term 4, 2026. Hours will be based on the number of students enrolled in the program and may be subject to changes throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging weekly piano lessons for students from beginner to advanced levels.
- Teach sound instrumental technique and music literacy.
- Foster a love of learning and music.
- Maintain attendance records and prepare PACA reports each semester.
- Communicate with parents regarding progress when required.
- Attend the annual Piano Showcase to celebrate student achievement.
Contract Rates (payable upon receipt of Tax Invoice to the College):
- $35 per student per 30-minute individual lesson
- $70 per hour for approved performances
About You
To be considered, you must have:
- A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Public Liability Insurance.
- An ABN.
