The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for two of our current Primary College Teachers to take on a position of added responsibility starting in 2026 as the Head of Area 12 and the Head of Area 34!

The role of the Head of Area is to support and assist the Director of Primary College with all Team, Student and Parent matters within the designated year levels and to work collaboratively with all other key relationships to cultivate positive Calvary culture, and best teaching and learning practices within the respective Area and the wider team.

Core duties of this role can be found in the Position Description. As a position of added responsibility, the Primary Head of Area Position Description should be read in conjunction with that of the Primary College Classroom Teacher:

This PAR is provided on a two year tenure.

Remuneration and Benefits

As a Primary Head of Area at Calvary Christian College, you will receive an additional Leadership Allowance at Level 1B according to our scale which currently equates to $8,000.00 pa.

You will also receive additional non-contact time in order to complete the role.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have Team leadership skills and exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, and you will need to commit to effectively managing both your classroom teaching role and the added role of responsibility.
